Connecting

Last week, I went to Virginia Beach with our pastor, Marty Holman and a college student, Jake Delew, to the White Board Sessions.  It is a one day conference.  Some of the speakers were amazing and said some things I needed to hear. And yet another part of the conference happened outside of the conference.  We met many people from different parts of the nation and heard of their dreams and problems.

It’s amazing that people from different parts of life deal with similar issues.  It’s amazing how connected we all can be and provide wisdom and skills that another person is looking for.  This kind of connecting has been difficult for me because I can easily go to something and then leave.  I learn things, but mostly knowledge stuff.  Connecting makes what is learned be put into action or at least seen in action in someone else.  That, my friend, is wisdom.
